Thin ridges are always a challenge for simultaneous approach. This is a post-ortho case where a BIOMET 3i implant was installed in the area of #31. The buccal exposed threads were covered with autogenous chips while a layer of sticky allograft was over-imposed to increase the bone volume.
The bone graft was protected with a pericardium membrane which was stabilized with the double layer approach. Four months later the implant was un-covered and a connective tissue graft was added to increase the soft tissue volume.
One year after the delivery of the prosthesis the peri-implant mucosa was very stable. Interesting enough the volume of keratinized gingiva in the adjacent teeth has also been increased.

Στο συγκεκριμένο περιστατικό παρουσιάζονται τα βήματα σε μια διφασική τοποθέτηση εμφυτεύματος στη περιοχή του #31 σε ένα περιστατικό με λεπτό φαινότυπο για την αντιμετώπιση του οποίου αποφασίσθηκε η τοποθέτηση του εμφυτεύματος ταυτόχρονα με τη ΚΟΑ.
Η διαχείριση των μαλακών ιστών κατά την αποκάλυψη περιέλαβε και ταυτόχρονη τοποθέτηση ΜΣΙ.
Ένα χρόνο μετά ο περιεμφυτευματικός βλεννογόνος εμφανίζει πολύ ικανοποιητική σταθερότητα, ενώ κάποιος θα μπορούσε να παρατηρήσει την αύξηση της ποσότητας των κερατινοποιημένων ιστών ακόμα και στα όμορα δόντια.
